Fendi’s Fonderia Installation at the Fair

Fendi marks its latest Design Miami display with Fonderia Fendi, a salon-like setup by Argentinian designer Constanza Vallese. It pulls from the fashion house’s codes—like the Selleria stitch and a pale yellow-blue palette inspired by Miami light—across bronze chairs, glass vases, ceramic seats, wool tapestries, and leather details. Vallese teamed up with Italian craftspeople: Fonderia Artistica Battaglia for bronze, Barovier & Toso for Murano glass, Officine Saffi for ceramics, and CC-Tapis for rugs. Wallpaper details the project, noting its nod to the five Fendi sisters through five materials and makers.

Best of Italian Design Event in Miami Design District

From December 2-4, the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Southeast hosts its sixth Best of Italian Design at Istituto Marangoni (3704 NE 2nd Ave), open 4-9 p.m. daily to pros like architects and developers.
